Out with the old…

Welcome to our new website! After nearly a dozen years, our old website has been finally put to rest. Originally designed by former Knotter, James Power (bodhran, bass guitar and mandolin), the old site has served us very well and definitely doesn’t owe us any favors. Oddly enough for a website that was so dated, we still received many compliments from followers and promoters alike but alas, all good things must come to an end (pause to wipe away a tear…)

We hope you enjoy the new site and take some time to poke around and explore the content. For those of you who enjoy a bit of nostalgia, be sure to check out the Photo’s and Video page. There are some rare gems that not only show how much we’ve all aged unfortunately, but old posters, promo and live pics of Fraid Knot alumni that will be sure to bring a smile to some our long time fans. It’s been a blast compiling all of this and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did putting it together. A big thanks and shout out to Vantage studios (Winnipeg) and our graphic design guru, John Wilson for all of their assistance and patience with us while we put this thing together. Hope you enjoy!
